Rebrand Naming Gems for Your Product, Program, or Service - The Creator's Law Firm
Every few days, someone here needs assistance with naming/rebranding their business. I usually end up responding with a bunch of my reels, info., strategy, etc., and it ultimately gets lost in the sauce of this community.
So, I’m here to help and share some gems about how to leverage marketing and legal strategy (along with cool naming concepts) to rename your business and catch your customers’ attention.
Here’s your first naming concept:
Double Entendre. A double entendre is when you take a word or phrase with numerous meanings related to the product or service.
I like this one b/c it gives your skilled trademark attorney an additional tool in their belt to battle for successful registration in the event your trademark is ever challenged.
Here are examples of Double Entendre marks (and their meanings).
- Meat Here®: Korean BBQ restaurant but obviously a place where you can not only “meet” others, but “meat” is also provided there
- FAST DRINK™: New one but this is a nutritional meal replacement drink, but also a product that can be prepared with the quickness
- The Creator’s Law Firm®: law firm for creatives but also God’s law firm *brushes dirt off my shoulders*
- Engineered Tax Services®: tax services delivered skillfully, but also delivered via engineers
- The Photo Cookout®: one part photography conference, another part photography dining experience?
In short, if you can create a product, program, or service name capable of multiple interpretations, you’ll have yourself a very strong trademark that not only stands out from the crowd but can also position your brand to generate greater revenue.
I’ll come back soon with more naming tips!
